Ray of Hope is a 501(c)3 multi-service organization that is committed to helping adult and child survivors and their families find the services they need in ONE place to recover from child abuse, domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence, and stalking. We work from a victim-centered, strengths-based approach to empower survivors and their families on their journey towards safety and healing. Our mission is to facilitate a coordinated, community response and to provide hope and support to children and families impacted by abuse.

Our Mission is to facilitate a coordinated, community response and to provide hope and support to children and families impacted by abuse.
As a collaborative effort to reduce the trauma that occurs following child abuse disclosure, the Washington County Multidisciplinary Team established Ray of Hope Advocacy Center in May of 2005 and has been an accredited member of the National Children’s Alliance since 2006. Since opening, the center has provided services to more than 4,500 children and adults in Washington, Nowata and Osage counties. Bringing together representatives from many disciplines (law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical and victim advocacy), Ray of Hope facilitates improved communication and team decisions about the investigation, treatment, management and prosecution of abuse cases. In 2019, Ray of Hope because certified by the Oklahoma Office of Attorney General to serve survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
